Thousand Oaks Personal Trainer

My love for athletics and fitness started in high school where I participated on both the varsity cross-country and track teams.  Following graduation from high school, I attended Moorpark College where I competed on Moorpark’s state leading cross-country and track teams.  During my stay at Moorpark I was able to spend time working with trainers and coaches developing my knowledge of fitness.  After receiving my AA degree I transferred to Cal State Northridge where I studied human performance at the university’s Kinesiology department.  In the fall of 2005, I graduated with a B.S. Degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science). My time spent at Northridge one of the most recognized programs in the country was very hands on providing me with the tools to work in real world situations. I was fortunate to work with several age group populations on health and fitness development and, research a variety of training methods. This experience provided me with the needed tools I use to help clients and athletes of all types today in reaching their fitness and performance expectations.  My two most personal accomplishments thus far are first the founding of my training business in the fall of 2009 where since that time I have had the pleasure of walking side by side with many wonderful clients, athletes and, individuals helping guide them to their goals, as will as helping coach and train the Westlake High Cross Country and Track teams.   While at Westlake, I coached 12 boys varsity teams to CIF Championship competition as well as place 5th and 6th at the State Cross Country Finals.  With much dedication Westlake won the California division 2 State Championship in 2012 as well as Runner Up for 2013. In 2010, I spent time working as a Cardiovascular Specialist at the Moorpark Athletic Club and in the spring of 2011 I choose to dedicate the majority of my time working with my training business while also co-managing the Future Track Running Center a fitness pillar in our community. After marrying the best person in my life in May of 2014 I continue to strive to provide sound, accurate and enjoyable training through proven scientific evidence based practice. With many experienced resources and individuals at my disposal I look froward to using by knowledge to help you reach your goals and be the best you can be!
